- 9.12.10 – Pierce came in asking if he could play computer games with a “please, please, please!” I said sure. Pierce: “I knew you were going to say yes!” Me: “You did, how did you know?” Pierce: “I was using the force.”
- 9/10 – Pierce was talking to me about Grant taking Karate lessons. Of course he was saying he wants to take Karate too. I told him no, since he is playing soccer. He went on to tell me that he was already good at doing Karate kicks and started demonstrating his best kicks for me, after a pretty high kick he exclaimed, “owe! that one hurt my leg pit!”

- 9.12.10 – Madi to Ryan: “It’s past my bedtime.” Ryan: “You’re right, how did you know?” Madi: “because smart people know when it’s past their bedtime.”
